Arcane ~ First Line Poetry Challenge II

As I step out to this new world, where fascination and fear takes ahold, did we really stray from the road? After this tragic fall, our souls are sold, Begun is the lethal movement for drastic change considered so bold, This is our just reward, In the name of revolution and change. As I step out of this new world, thinking if our lives have changed for better or worse, seeing the same depressing scene over and over, finally knowing we csn no longer save ourselves. From our own supposed mistakes and lack of control, to deal with our selves and emotions, our actions with causes and effects, knowing how destructive we will forever be, despite our ways.

Thanks for the commentary, Jean-Luc :) I wonder what the infamous Squire of Gothos or our android friend would say if they stumbled upon all this?

Arcane ~ First Line Poetry Challenge I

Neon lights and dizzying heights, sleepless nights and many sights, a city truly awakened by the night and the moon. pulsing like an exited heart after a couple of shocks, the lighted city will never sleep until the stop of its many clocks, and the sound of many closing locks.

From Von ~ Engel

The bloodied landscape is aflame, the armies of both sides are claimed, and whisked away. Today. Useful turned useless junk is collapsing into further waste, the meaty army ants get fixed, but their hearts and minds remain in stitches. A star falls from the sky, to go back it can never fly; to help a dying friend it had to lie. When it fell from the sky, it thought it was surely going to die.
